Counselling & Appointments

What happens after I submit an appointment request?

Once you submit the Appointment Request Form, our team will carefully review your request. We will then contact you to discuss appointment availability and share the next steps before confirming your session.

Is my appointment confirmed immediately after submitting the form?

No. Submitting the form is only an appointment request. Your appointment is confirmed only after it has been reviewed and you receive confirmation from InnerWell Mind.

Who will provide the counselling sessions?

Counselling sessions are provided by Dr. Shama Rahman, Founder & Consulting Psychologist at InnerWell Mind, based on your individual needs and appointment schedule.

How long does a counselling session usually last?

Most counselling sessions last approximately 45–60 minutes. The duration may vary depending on your concerns and the nature of the session.

Can I book more than one counselling session?

Yes. Depending on your needs, follow-up sessions may be recommended. You are free to continue counselling at a pace that feels comfortable and beneficial for you.

How soon will I receive a response after submitting my request?

We aim to respond to appointment requests within 24–48 hours during normal working days. Response times may occasionally vary depending on enquiry volume.

Online Counselling

Do you offer online counselling sessions?

Yes. InnerWell Mind offers secure online counselling sessions, allowing you to receive professional support from the comfort and privacy of your preferred location.

Which platform is used for online counselling?

Online counselling sessions are conducted through a secure and mutually agreed platform, such as Google Meet or another suitable video calling service. The meeting details will be shared after your appointment has been confirmed.

Can I attend an online session using my mobile phone?

Yes. You can attend your online counselling session using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone.

What should I prepare before an online counselling session?

Choose a quiet and private place where you feel comfortable speaking openly. Ensure that your internet connection is stable and that your device is fully charged or connected to power before the session begins.

What if my internet connection is interrupted during the session?

If the connection is interrupted, we will make every reasonable effort to reconnect and continue the session. If necessary, alternative arrangements will be discussed.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Will my counselling sessions remain confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. Information shared during counselling sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable legal obligations.

Will my personal information be shared with anyone else?

No. Your personal information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes. Information is handled responsibly and only used for counselling and appointment-related communication, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect someone’s safety.

Are online counselling sessions private and secure?

Yes. We make every reasonable effort to use secure communication methods for online counselling. We also recommend attending your session from a quiet and private location to help maintain confidentiality.

Will my appointment request remain confidential?

Fees & Payments

How much does a counselling session cost?

The current consultation fee is displayed on our Book Appointment page. If you have any questions regarding consultation charges, you are welcome to contact us before booking your appointment.

When do I need to make the payment?

Payment instructions are shared after your appointment request has been reviewed. If advance payment is required, your appointment will be confirmed after the payment process has been completed.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Payment details will be shared during the appointment confirmation process. The available payment methods will be communicated clearly before your session is confirmed.

Can I reschedule my appointment after payment?

Yes. If you need to reschedule, please inform us as early as possible. Rescheduling requests are subject to appointment availability and will be handled reasonably based on the circumstances.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

Cancellation, rescheduling, and any applicable refund or fee adjustment will be handled in accordance with the circumstances and the policies communicated during the appointment process. If you have any questions, please contact us before your scheduled session.

How many counselling sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies for every individual. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others may benefit from longer-term support depending on their goals, concerns, and personal circumstances.

I'm not sure whether I need counselling. Can I still book an appointment?
